Privacy Policy

Razor Alpha · razoralpha.io Last updated: 10 June 2026
The short version: we collect what we need to run your account, scanners, alerts, payments, and community features — and nothing we don't. We don't sell your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

01 Who we are

Razor Alpha (razoralpha.io) is operated by Razor Alpha ("we", "us"). For the purposes of applicable data-protection law, including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions or requests can go to [email protected].

02 What we collect

CategoryExamplesSource
Account data Email address, username, password (stored hashed by our auth provider), profile avatar and display preferences. You, at sign-up.
Linked-account data Your X (Twitter) handle and verification status, if you choose to verify or connect it. You / the linked service.
Usage & content Scanners and charts you use, alerts you set, saved charts, razor balance and transactions, competitions, referrals, and messages or signals you post in community chat. Your activity.
Payment data Order references, amounts, and status for razor purchases. Payments are handled by our processor — we do not receive or store your full card number or wallet keys. Payment processor.
Technical data IP address, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, and logs needed for security and debugging. Automatically.

We do not intentionally collect special-category data, and we ask that you not post it in community areas.

03 How we use it

04 Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (to provide the Service you sign up for), legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the Service and prevent abuse), consent (for optional marketing and any non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time), and legal obligation (for record-keeping and compliance).

05 Cookies & local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage that are strictly necessary to run the Service — for example, to keep you signed in and to remember your theme, font, and layout preferences. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. You can clear local storage and cookies in your browser, though doing so will sign you out and reset preferences.

06 Who we share with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers ("processors") that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it:

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required).

The main service providers we rely on, each processing data under their own privacy policy, include:

07 International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA/UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. Contact us for more detail on the safeguards in place.

08 How long we keep data

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After closure we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example, transaction records) to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

09 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. To exercise these, contact [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by law. If you are in the EEA/UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

10 Security

We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and tell us promptly if you suspect any compromise.

11 Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12 Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
